OUR MISSION
The Trauma Managers Association of California is a non-profit organization whose mission is to ensure optimal care of the injured patient in an organized system from prehospital through rehabilitation. We accomplish this through public-private partnership, leadership, education, advocacy, interdisciplinary collaboration, evidence-based practice, data, performance improvement, and injury prevention.

To be the leading organization of nurses in the State of California for trauma care across the continuum.

TMAC values the critically injured trauma patient as the primary focus TMAC's mission, vision and values; trauma care as an integrated and integral part of essential health care services; and the establishment of "best practices" in the care of trauma patients based on the use of evidence based research and performance improvement practices.
